This formulated product is a high-performance composite organic-inorganic binder specifically designed for the cold pressing and molding of iron powder, iron-containing dust, and mineral powder. Compared to traditional binders (such as bentonite) or simple mixed formulations, its advanced features are reflected in: 1. Synergistic Enhancement: Through the scientific combination of organic components (providing initial adhesion and flexibility) and inorganic chemical raw materials (providing final strength and high-temperature resistance), it achieves a perfect integration of room-temperature bonding, rapid curing, and high-temperature strength. 2. Environmental Friendliness: It achieves "clean" bonding. 3. High Efficiency and Energy Savings: With an extremely low addition rate (1-2%), it significantly reduces transportation and usage costs; no sintering or digestion is required, as pellets naturally cure to achieve high strength, greatly saving energy consumption. 4. Excellent Performance: High pelletization rate (>95%), good wet pellet strength (no breakage after a 2-meter drop), high dry pellet strength (≥1500N/pellet), fully meeting industrial smelting requirements.
Usage Method 1. Addition Amount: The recommended addition amount is 1.5% of the total weight of iron powder (or iron-containing material). This can be fine-tuned (1.2%-2.0%) based on material particle size, moisture content, and molding pressure. 2. Pre-treatment: No special requirements. Ensure that the particle size of iron powder and other materials is below 200 mesh, and the moisture content is preferably below 5%. 3. Mixing and Stirring: Process: Use a forced-action mixer (such as a horizontal twin-shaft mixer). Steps: First, mix the dry powdered iron powder with the dry powdered binder and stir for 2-3 minutes to ensure uniformity. Then, while stirring, slowly add 8%-10% clean tap water (the specific amount of water needs to be fine-tuned based on material humidity) and continue stirring for 5-8 minutes until the material reaches a uniformly moist state where it "forms a ball when squeezed by hand and breaks apart when dropped." 4. Pressing and Molding: Equipment: Use a roller press briquetting machine or disc pelletizer. Pressure: The linear pressure of the roller press should be no less than 6 kN/cm. 5. Post-treatment (Curing): Natural Curing: Stack the pressed green pellets and cure them at room temperature for 5-7 days. Avoid rain and direct sunlight. During this period, the pellet strength will naturally increase over time. Drying: If rapid strength improvement is needed or the environment is humid, low-temperature drying at 50-80°C for 4-8 hours can be performed. 6. Maintenance: After production, promptly clean the mixer and briquetting machine molds to prevent residual material from hardening.
